Missing Texas girl found after two day search
(CNN) — A positive development in the case of a missing child in Texas.
A girl who disappeared from her middle school and was missing for two days has been found safe.
A happy ending to what was a likely a nightmare 48 hours for family. Adrienne Solorzano was found and, more importantly, safe.
Family and friends trickled into Garland Police Headquarters. That's where she was taken Saturday afternoon.
"We're really glad for her... we find her and she is well."
The 12-year-old middle schooler was missing since early Thursday.
Her disappearance sparked aggressive searches by police, by family and friends.
But at three o'clock on a rainy Saturday, she was found in the parking lot of El Langostino Azul, a Mexican seafood restaurant found by one of the search parties.
"It may have been somebody that she actually goes to church with that spotted her; I know there was a lot of those people that were out looking for her."
Police say two men found her.
They called police.
You can see them on store surveillance cameras buying Adrienne food.
"Two guys were inside ordering five tacos, and there were four police officers outside, and the little girl was found in the vehicle."
Adrienne was picked up in this parking lot.
Garland Police say she was not hurt and spent a small part of Saturday sitting with detectives.
"She seems very calm. She's very articulate and is going over the last two days."
It's still unclear where Adrienne Solorzano was for more than 48 hours, whether anyone was with her, or more importantly why she was missing.
But tonight we do know she's with family.
And it's proof a community working together can work miracles.
