One of the biggest Baptist churches in Longview, Mobberly Baptist, already has a campus that sits on more than 50 acres of land. Today they revealed almost 100 more acres to their congregation, an expansion that makes this "super church" even more "super."

Mobberly has been around since the 1930's and it started out as a small church, on only about 15 acres, but since then it has grown to be one of Longview's "super churches" holding more that 3,000 members and growing.

The new land is located behind the church and it includes nature paths, three lakes, and a ton of open land. Senior Associate Pastor, Gregg Zackary, says the land can be used for anything, "recreational activities, sports activities, people can take walks, and families can come here to pray together."

Today thousands of church-members gathers to get a peek of the new property, and they had a small service in one of the fields, and prayed to God for blessing them with the new addition.

Pastor Zachary says, this land truly is a gift from God, "We believe it's His land, and He's allowed us to have it to use for His glory, and so we just want to really commit it to Him and spend time as a congregation praying."
