A suspicious-acting motorist led a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper to find 4,605 pounds of marijuana with a street value of more than $2.7 million.

A Florida man was held Monday in Titus County Jail on charges of possession of marijuana. Bond was set at $1.5 million.

According to DPS officials, 30-year-old Giovanni Borrero, of Longwood, Fla., was stopped at 3:50 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 30 near mile-marker 171 for a traffic violation.

Borrero, who was driving a tractor-trailer, showed signs of nervousness “and other indicators of criminal activity,” DPS spokeswoman Sylvia Jennings said.

After Borrero consented to a search of his vehicle, the truck was moved to the Walmart parking lot in Mount Pleasant where 184 bundles of marijuana were found commingled within the truck load of produce, Jennings said.

While our broken federal government spends hundreds of millions of dollars fighting in Libya, Texas is left to fight the drug cartel's with a lone DPS agent doing his job on the hiway. Top flight police work that must go unrecognized for fear of retaliation, a condition stemming from no federal support. We could win the drug war if we didn't have to fight Washington to get permission to fight a war that we Texans have no more patience for.

I agree completely with this. We, Americans must take our country back!!!!!!!!
