ATLANTA - Mississippi now holds the title for the highest teen pregnancy rate in the nation— displacing Texas and New Mexico.

The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says
Mississippi's rate was more than 60 percent higher than the national average in 2006. The teen pregnancy rate in Texas and New Mexico was more than 50 percent higher.

The lowest teen birth rates continue to be in New England.

I believe the federal government should not help the teens who get pregnant. They should deal with the problem themselves. Abortion should not be an option either. That is murder and that does not solve the problem. Teens want to do adult acts, then they should take responsibility for their actions as adults. If you play with fire you will get burned.
