Longview, TX — With AlleyFest and Mother’s Day colliding this year, plenty of Longview residents took to downtown Longview with their mothers in tow.
Bank Alley, a cut-through between Fredonia and Center streets, drew the biggest crowds Sunday. Filled with more than 70 vendors, artists displayed everything from paintings to pottery and sculptures.
In the midst of it all, the Tory family was getting a family caricature drawing completed, adding to a collection of caricatures that the family began acquiring at different events.
“The last one we had done was in Barcelona,” Barb Tory said. “We came out last evening and some of the vendors had closed up, so I wanted to make sure to come back to see everything today.”
