TYLER, TX (KETK) - — Tyler PD Dispatch was notified of a major traffic accident involving a motorcycle on Jan. 28, 2012 at 6:25 p.m.  Officers’ responded to the scene located in the 5000 Block of Paluxy Dr. Upon arrival, officers’ determined that the accident was a single vehicle accident involving a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle. A group of motorcycles were riding southbound on Paluxy when the rear motorcycle lost control and struck the outer southbound curb. The motorcycle was operated by a white male, 63 years of age. The driver was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. He was transported to ETMC by EMS with serious injuries received in the accident.
