The Longview News Journal is reports: Charlie Humphries got to fulfill a Christmas wish a couple of months late on Saturday.

The three-year-old boy had met Toddy, one of the horses in the Gregg County Sheriff’s Mounted Unit, while Christmas shopping at the Longview Mall with his grandmother, Crystal Johnson. He immediately fell in love with the horse, Johnson said.

“All he could talk about for weeks was Toddy,” Johnson said. “He named his toy horse Toddy and kept asking if he could see the big Toddy again.”
