The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department starts the 2013 Spring Movies in the Park Series on Saturday, April 13 with a free viewing of “His Girl Friday” in the Bergfeld Park Amphitheatre at 8:00 p.m.

Directed by Howard Hawks, starring Cary Grant, Rosalind Russell, Ralph Bellamy and Gene Lockhart, “His Girl Friday” follows the story of Walter Burns, an editor for The Morning Post who learns his ex-wife and former star reporter, Hildegard “Hildy” Johnson, is about to marry bland insurance man Bruce Baldwin and settle down to a quiet life as a wife and mother.

Walter is determined to sabotage these plans, reaching out to Hildy to cover one last story. Walter does everything he can to keep Hildy from leaving. This film is not rated.
