Multiple counterfeit $100 bill arrests spur Longview police warning
Longview — Counterfeit bills confiscated this week at several locations in Longview prompted a warning from police for residents to be cautious with cash transactions.
“Stores obviously can mark them, but the public at garage sales and private transactions aren’t looking for that,” said police spokeswoman Kristie Brian.
Longview police seized several counterfeit $100 bills in separate incidents Monday.
