JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski is calling on her
rival to concede after a judge ruled against Joe Miller's challenge
to the Alaska Senate race.

Murkowski told The Associated Press on Friday that it's time for
Miller to say the election is over and "end this."
 

the tea party favorite has said his challenge to the race is
less about winning or losing and more about principle.

He argues that write-in ballots for Murkowski that included misspellings
should not have been counted, and he raised questions about voting
irregularities.

The judge said Murkowski had more uncontested votes than Miller,
period, and found no basis for his claims about irregularities.
 

Murkowski calls the ruling a "stinging rebuke."
 

A Miller spokesman says a statement is forthcoming.
