Museum of East Texas hosting art-filled activities over Spring Break

Lufkin, TX — The Museum of East Texas is hosting Spring Break at the Museum throughout the week, inviting families to take part in a variety of art-filled activities.
Beginning on Monday, the MET will offer painting, drawing and paper crafts, along with puzzles and a scavenger hunt in the Forest Insect Alphabet exhibition
“This is sure to be a fun-filled spring event for our young friends and their families,” MET Director J.P. McDonald said. “We are going to have a great time and a lot of fun at the museum this week. It will be a wonderful environment for our families to come and have a vacation of their own.”
McDonald said the museum wanted to provide families who are not traveling during the break, a place to come and spend time together.
