Nacogdoches LT. Darrell Trawick reported that four arrests were made overnight Sept. 9 during routine traffic stops.  Lemuel Stinson was stopped for playing load music and officers found that a Class C warrant was out on him and an unpaid traffic ticket.  In trying to make an arrest, Stinson decided to run.  When caught at 1811 N. Street he was arrested on charges for the Class C misdemeanor and for evading arrest.

On the 2000 Block of RR Street, Sandy White, a white female was stopped after failure to stop and officers discovered that she had no car insurance and her driver's license was suspended.  She was arrested for committing a traffic violation and her vehicle put into police lockup.  White's 5-year-old child also in the car was released into her grandmother's custody.

Derrick Wyatt and Vernon Worry, two black males in the car with White were also arrested.   Wyatt was arrested for two felony warrants in connection with delivery of a controlled substance.  Worry was arrested when police searched him and found two grams of Marijuana in his possession.  All four arrests were conducted within minutes of one another.
