Nacogdoches County officials have searched for a credit card system that would make accounting pertaining to credit card purchases a little easier to monitor and a little more protected.

Earlier this week, commissioners voted unanimously to enter into a cooperative purchasing agreement contract with the city of Fort Worth that would streamline credit card accounting and provide computerized program protection in who and how a county credit card is used, in addition to providing other benefits for the county, according to County Judge Joe English.
