After several months of mandating some driving while intoxicated offenders on probation to use a certain monitoring device, Nacogdoches County has seen a positive result, County Attorney John Fleming said.

The Smart Start device, which can now be used at home and not just as a device to prevent someone from driving while intoxicated, has allowed the county probation department to better track offenders while at home.
