Nacogdoches ISD student support preps for Burmese workers
AS REPORTED IN THE NACOGDOCHES DAILY SENTINEL:
A few Nacogdoches ISD student support services employees recently met with state representatives from the Texas Department of State Health Services to create dialog and a support system for the future in regards to the incoming Burmese refugee students.
The district just learned they will be receiving copies of vaccine information forms for students in Burmese, which will be beneficial for students and parents, said Brenda Whitman, NISD head nurse who attended the meeting.
