Nacogdoches man accused of ramming vehicle, burglary
Nacogdoches, TX — A Nacogdoches man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after authorities say he rammed his vehicle into another vehicle before breaking into a nearby house.
Strephon Davis, 35, was reportedly driving an older model blue Cadillac on CR 751 when he pulled up to another vehicle and asked the man and his wife for a ride to Lake Nacogdoches, Sheriff Thomas Kerss said.
The incident happened at about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday.
"They declined and he began ramming their vehicle," Kerss said.
Officers were dispatched to the scene, and a deputy saw the Cadillac along FM 225 near CR 751 and then found Davis had broken into a home nearby.
"He had broken into a house near that location and had stolen a frozen pizza and a set of car keys," Kerss said. "He was taken into custody at the scene."
