Nacogdoches officials enforcing "no refusal" over Memorial Day weekend

Nacogdoches — In an effort to deter impaired driving, the Nacogdoches Police Department, in conjunction with the Nacogdoches County Attorney John Fleming’s Office, will observe a “no refusal” weekend from Friday, May 25 thru Tuesday, May 29, 2012.
Persons suspected of impaired driving will be asked to take a breath test to determine blood alcohol levels. In the event the suspected drunk driver refuses the test, a search warrant will be obtained and a blood test taken. Nacogdoches County Court at law Judge Jack Sinz has agreed to serve as the magistrate on call.
