Nacogdoches — The Nacogdoches Police Department has opened an investigation into the injury of a one-year-old girl.

The girl was taken to a Houston hospital from a Nacogdoches hospital on March 22, after what a hospital worker initially thought to be a seizure may have been a head injury caused by trauma.

The child was unresponsive when she was initially taken to the Nacogdoches hospital.
