Nacogdoches to receive funding
June 27, 2009 - 6:06pm
NACOGDOCHES-Nacogdoches will soon get a second round of disaster relief funding for Hurricane Ike.
The Deep East Texas Council of Governments announced that Texas will receive almost $2 billion in the coming months.
There are currently no specific figures regarding how much money the council will receive or its individual counties, though the commissioner's court told the Daily Sentinel they already have plans for how to spend their share of the money.
