Nacogdoches strip club raided over weekend
NACOGDOCHES — Quietly and easily, the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Department on Saturday night entered the gentlemen's club, Baby Dolls, and shut it down.
It didn't take but a few minutes for the lights to go up, the music to be turned off and to have each employee sitting around the stage in the main room. Patrons were instructed to sit at the tables around the stage.
Every employee was charged with Class A misdemeanor violation of regulation involving a sexually oriented business, which is Nacogdoches County's version of a city ordinance, Kerss said. Counties are limited in the kind of orders that can be put in place, but a sexually oriented business is one of them.
