EAST TEXAS—Here are a few of stories from Tuesday's "Cops and Cuffs" segment:
Terry Garner, 22, rejected a plea agreement for the non-lethal shooting of his girlfriend last year. Garner would have served 10 years in prison if he had pleaded guilty. In August, he will be tried by a jury and could serve up to 99 years in prison for the charge.
Kilgore police are reporting an increase in lawn mower thefts including nine incidents in May. Police have identified one suspect.
Nacogdoches police are looking for some thieves with an appetite. A Nacogdoches woman reported her house was broken into and burglars stole her TV, DVD player, and ham and cheese sandwiches.
