UPDATE- Winona Fire Chief Brumley has released the names of the children killed in Sunday mornings fire.

9-year old Colby Watson, 6-year old Riley Hickman, and 4-year old Jax Davidson were all killed during the fire.

Chief Brumley tells KETK the fire started from a lit candle in the living of the house.

It then spread into the kitchen, and the back to the two bedrooms were the kids were sleeping.

Two adults, and five kids were able to make it out of the house.

The two adults and their son were taken to a local hospital and treated for burns.

The mother has been released, and the father is expected to be soon.

8-year old Colton Dear is still in the hospital.

ORIGINAL- A Winona house fire claims the lives of three children early this morning.

At 2:57 this morning Winona Police Department, Smith County Sheriff's Office, Winona, Red Springs, Jackson Heights, Lindale, Whitehouse, and Chapel Hill Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a house fire in the 200 block of Kay Street.

There were two adults and eight children in the home at the time that the fire became ablaze.

Three children under the age of 11 were pronounced dead at the scene. One adult female was taken to a local hospital and an adult male and an eight year old male were taken to Shreveport for burns.

Four out of the eight children in the fire were relatives. KETK will continue to update you as more information becomes available.
