the 15 year old was arrested in connection to his sister, Amanda's murder
TYLER - Mark Nathaniel Anderson appeared in court again Monday in front of Judge Floyd Getz at the Smith County Detention Center. Anderson, who goes by, Nate, was arrested in November in connection to his sister, Amanda's September 15th murder inside her New Chapel Hill home. According to the arrest affidavit, investigators say Amanda, who attended Tyler Junior College, was shot four times in the head. Police say, Nate Anderson, 15, claims he went on a short jog, and came home to find his sister dead in what he told police might have been a possible robbery gone bad. But investigators say nothing was stolen and his story doesn't add up. The bullet wounds appeared to match a .22 calliber semi-automatic handgun, the same gun, police say, Nate's father, Mark Anderson had given him years before, for target shooting. And when police arrived at the scene, the affidavit says Nate's clothes were covered in Amanda's blood, but he initially claimed he never went inside the house. However, 911 records show Nate told operators his sister had been shot several times in the head... authorities say it would be impossible to know that unless he was at some point inside the house after she was shot. Mark and Stacy Anderson still maintain their son is innocent.
The next scheduled hearing is set for December 20, 2010 at 8:30 am.

The clothes dont have to be "covered" in blood. The point being that if all he did was stand in her doorway there should be no blood on his clothes.
I pray that the family will find out what really happened, and I pray that this boy was not involved. But we do not know yet that he did indeed commit this crime. I just pray for all of them that this clears up and their lives can resume some form of sanity and that they will have the time they need to mourn their daughters passing in this way.
Please read the affidavit, it does NOT say his clothes were covered in Amanda's blood. As a matter of fact, they had to use a reagent in order to see anything. Also, it did not state that he said he never went inside the house, but that he never went inside her room. A bit misleading.
