Neighbors alert police to robbers

On Friday around 2:00 a.m., Tyler Police received a call from a person who observed a suspicious white Chevy pick-up driving without lights in a neighborhood off of Rhones Quarter Road. Tyler Police responded to the area immediately and located a vehicle matching the description of the suspicious vehicle.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and discovered numerous electronic items worth thousands of dollars that were determined to be stolen. Officers discovered several vehicles that had been entered within the immediate area of this neighborhood. The suspects were only stealing items from vehicles that were left unlocked.

The two suspects that were arrested were identified as Aaron Brady Jones, W/M, 05/01/1992, of Tyler and Kelton Derk Wilson, W/M, 03/19/1992, of Tyler. Both subjects were charged with four counts of auto burglary. Police are still attempting to find the owners of stolen property that was recovered.
