Park gets new pavilion

Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; The Lufkin Host Lions Club donated more than seventeen thousand dollars to Friends of the Ellen Trout Zoo for a new pavilion.

Construction on the pavilion started back in May and is now complete. The pavilion lacks some electrical work, but zoo officials say it should be ready for annual Independence Day celebrations.
