More than 1,000 volunteers will be working day and night over the next five days to build a dream playground in Bullard.

They started construction today and will be building for five days straight until the dedication ceremony on Sunday.

The park is being built on a two-acre site of land on Old Jacksonville Rd.

The idea to build this one of a kind project started last January.

Students from Bullard Elementary and The Brook Hill School were able to participate in this park and give their ideas to the designers.

400 students from both The Bullard School and the Brook Hill School entered their drawings in a contest.

A couple of the students drawings were selected including a rocket ship, castle, rock wall, and  other designs.

The Dedication Ceremony will be held on Sunday, Jan.20 at 4:00 p.m.. at 708 N. Rather Rd. in Bullard.
