Looper to succeed Krenek

Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News reports a changing of the guard for the Lufkin-based hospital system: Memorial Health System of East Texas.

Gary Looper will take the reigns as president and CEO, replacing Bryant Krenek.

It's deja vu for Looper and Lufkin. He previously served as CEO of Woodland Heights Medical Center from 2001-04.
