SMITH COUNTY — The parents of Jacob Kimbley, who was found dead near his home in late August after a long overnight search, have a new court date.

David and Sabrina Kimbley were scheduled to be in court on Friday, but a hearing was not needed.

Smith County authorities tell KETK, a new hearing has been scheduled for October 15th.

The Kimbley's are charged with Criminal Negligence and Child Endangerment, after their 2 year old son, Jacob, went missing after an alleged game of hide and seek.

They have five other children, which have been removed from their care by CPS.
