There are lots of new devices to make small business easier.
But to use one of them, you’d better be in the right kind of business.
You’ve probably seen the commercials.
It has been a boon for small business.
A company called square, founded by the co-founder of twitter, Jack Dorsey, has a new mobile device that lets you use your I-Phone as a cash register.
So, you’re a small business person, and you like the idea of the little, square device for the phone that lets you swipe credit cards.
But not if you want to sell one of these.
The Square company has announced that along with betting…drugs…escort services…mail order Viagra…porn…or bankruptcy lawyers…you can’t use their device to pay for guns, ammunition, or gun accessories.
Services like PayPal have refused gun transactions for years, like their parent company Ebay.
But Ebay and PayPal will help you buy every accessory except the gun itself.
There is a competitor to Square called Cube, and best we can tell, it does not discriminate.
So whether it’s a matter of politics, principle or simple worry about liability, in business, guns have become a loaded subject.
The issue is probably greater for online gun selling sites, and people who sell at gun shows.

I don't use their services for the very reason they won't handle LEGAL GUN SALES.

Plenty of other ways to buy guns.
