With a growing number of people being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, reports estimate that 80 percent of those people are being cared for by family members.

Home Instead Senior Care is launching a new online program for those caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's.

It's a new way to gain support for your family member 24 hours a day, and it's totally free.

Allison McKinney, owner of Home Instead's Tyler franchise, says the educational resource is interactive and easy to use.

It's different from other resources in that it actually engages the patient and caregiver.

"We wanna help seniors age with dignity," McKinney said. "It's unique in that it doesn't focus on the cure or treatment; it focuses on the senior."

The program is designed to have different classes that family members can leave and come back to later.
