Longview — The Rev. Justin Braun, a newly-ordained Catholic priest, celebrated his first Mass on Sunday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Braun grew up in the parish and is a 2001 graduate of Pine Tree High School.

“I’m just awesomely happy,” Braun said. “This is what God has called me to do with my life and I’m very excited to be serving the Lord in this way.”
