A new recommendation for Women's Health Care adds to the confusion
WASHINGTON - The American College of Obstetricians and Gynocologists released a new recommendation for women's health care on Friday. The group of doctors said that women should follow new guidelines when it comes to getting pap smears. They say that women should start pap smears three years after becoming sexually active and then one every two years after that. They also said all women should begin getting pap smears at age twenty one. Another recommendation was that after a woman turns thirty it is only necessary to get pap smears every three years. The problem is doctors can't agree. Some think this recommendation is trying to sway optinion right before the health care debate. We will have the full story for you posted on the website soon.
