This, in spite of state cuts to public education

The Daily Sentinel is reporting; in spite of potential state budget cuts Nacogdoches Public Schools plan on maintaining pre-k classes next school year.

According to the Texas Education Agency's website: The recently passed: House Bill 1, cuts the state's Pre-kindergarten Early Start Grant Program, which provides funds for school districts to prepare students for kindergarten.
