Nissan announced its third largest recall ever. About 2.14 million vehicles are affected mostly in the U.S. and Japan.
The recall effects the March-Micra, Cube and about a dozen other models made between August 2003 and July 2006. All have been recalled to fix a faulty ignition relay that could cause engine problems.
So far, no crashes have been reported from the defect. Officials say the recall was a precautionary measure.
