On Tuesday, Tyler ISD, along with the city, placed a "No Left Turn" sign across from the Donnybrook exit for Robert E. Lee High School, but many drivers, are not abiding by the new rule.

According to the district, this was put in place to help traffic flow before and after school.

This was done, after school employees who work in the guard shack suggested this be put up to avoid any possible mishaps, since the road is so close to Loop 323 as well as a crosswalk.

KETK was on scene Wednesday while school let out, and noticed a number of drivers ignoring the new sign, and still turning left.

No authorities were on scene Wednesday afternoon, enforcing the new traffic rule.

maybe we could put 6 traffic signals along the loop in front of Lee to help traffic flow...

Over half or so people I am sure never saw the sign. We are habit people with a million things on our minds looking left and right for oncoming traffic and making the turn to get on down the road.
