Obama gets Nobel Surprise

President Barack Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
The stunning announcement was made today in Oslo, Norway.
Obama is now the third sitting U.S. president to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
The decision was a shock considering the president took office just two weeks before the February 1st nomination deadline.
The committee cited the President's work to curb the spread of nuclear weapons and strengthen international diplomacy.
Congratulations to President Obama for the Nobel Peace Prize Award. America should be proud and not continue to fine fault with everything.

1 month agoIf I am not mistaken the nominations for the Nobel prizes are due into the Nobel selection board in Febuary. Mr Obama would have been in office for no more than 2 months at that time. Does not this show just how political these awards have become?

1 month agoWHAT A JOKE.....THIS MORON HAS DONE NOTHING WORTHY OF ANY PRIZES,AWARDS,ETC......ANY KIND OF CLOUT OR PRESTIGE THAT WENT ALONG WITH THIS AWARD IS NOW GONE...THEY MIGHT AS WELL HAND NOBEL PRIZES OUT AT A GARAGE SALE FOR ALL IT MEANS NOW!!!!!! IT IS NOW JUST A JOKE AWARD!!! OH,BY THE WAY, I DO RESPECT THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT...NOW WE JUST NEED TO PUT A REAL ONE IN THERE.

1 month agoThis is outrageous. Nominations were in after this person spent TWO WEEKS in office and hadn't even accomplished anything! This award was given based on his ideas of peace. So, as someone said to me, why doesn't Miss America win every year for their cries of "world peace"? Oh please. Yet another group of bum snorklers fawning over the Usurper-in-Chief, a man who hasn't even given conclusive proof that he has the right to be in office!
Is that blunt? Yes, perhaps. I am truly disgusted!
