Van driver charged with child endangerment

Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; the driver of a vehicle carrying more than a dozen students from a day care was charged with child endangerment after running a red light and being struck by a pickup truck.

The driver, another adult and 16 children in the van were taken to an area hospital, where they were treated for cuts and scratches.
