Obamacare, it starts
tyler — The Obama administration did an about turn from the birth control decision today.
But still, what they did earlier this week to me was chilling.
Chilling because bureaucrat Kathleen Sebelius of Health and Human Services decided for the betterment of women 's health -- and no matter what the Constitution may state -- Catholic entities were going to pay for birth control.
Who made her queen?
There are reports from both sides of the isle that it was quite a showdown between the presidents inner circle.
Mrs. Obama and Valerie Jarratt, an advisor, told the president it's time to move on this no matter what for women in the country.
White House Chief William Daily and Vice-President Joe Biden, both Catholics, told the president to stay away from this.
This would cause firestorm and alienate Catholics all over the country.
The president went against the Catholic Church.
Luckily, the blow back from the mess made the president water down his decision and put the onus on insurance companies.
But the whole spirit of the decision to marginalize bishops in the church and tell religion it's our way or the highway is troubling.
Folks, what you just saw was the first phase of Obamacare being laid as a foundation.
There are actually politicians who voted for it now regretting their votes.
They tell media they didn't know this was in the bill. Remember, we had to pass it to read it.
Well, we did.
And if this president is re-elected, what you saw this week is just a warm-up. Americans will finally realize they've been sold down the river by power grabbing big government allies who don't care one bit about the Constitution.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
