TYLER — The Tyler Police Department received numerous tips after the news media released this incident. Investigators were able to identify the suspect in this case based on those tips.

Jose Alberto Mejia H/M DOB: 08-02-1985 from Longview turned himself into Investigators this afternoon. He has been charged with Class B Misdemeanor Indecent Exposure and a State Jail Felony of Improper Photography.

Judge Kennedy issued a warrant and set bond at $50,000.00.

Jose Mejia is incarcerated at the Smith County Jail.
