Officials report several thousand attendees at AlleyFest
Longview — Jerry Trice wasn’t about to let a broken foot stop him from volunteering at AlleyFest, where he’s helped out more than 30 years.
“We do this for Longview,” Trice said Saturday of the annual festival.
This year’s AlleyFest — reduced from three to two days — was held in conjunction with Historic Depot Days, and officials reported several thousand attendees as of Saturday afternoon.
This was the first year for AlleyFest to spread across a few blocks behind Regions Bank on Fredonia Street and in front of Tyler Street businesses.
