Olympian visits Tyler

TYLER— Olympic gold medalist Carly Patterson stopped in Tyler Monday night.
The gymnast went by Texas East Gymnastics to promote her new CD and sign autographs for local gymnasts.
Patterson offered some friendly advice to kids wanting to be olympic gymnasts.
"I always tell the girls just to have fun and love what they're doing; that's the most important, but um to always work hard and believe in yourself." Patterson said.
Patterson will peform a free concert Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Dentistry for Children located at 6004 S Broadway Avenue in Tyler.
