A wreck in Flint leaves one dead and one in serious condition.

Smith County DPS tells KETK it happened on Farm to Market Road 2813 at 11:23 p.m. Saturday night.

Driver, Nathan Lebrun, of Flint, was driving on FM 2813 just two and a half miles northeast of Flint when he failed to turn and ran off the roadway and overturned.

When officers arrived on the scene they found Lebrun injured in the driver's seat and his passenger, Adam Nunn, 27, of Tyler, inside the vehicle.

At 11:30 p.m., Justice of Peace Precinct 2, Gary Alfred, pronounced Nunn dead at the scene.

Lebrun was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. As of 11:40 a.m. Sunday morning, Lebrun is still in serious condition.

Both passengers in the car had their seatbelts on.

How is Nathan Lebrun doing now?

Very dangerous uphill curve and intersection. The curve needs " side rails" since there is a drop down/off from the asphalt to the ground. In certain places you are not even capable or correcting your vehicle, if one tire barely drops off asphalt. The speed needs to be reduced from the Beddingfield to Old J'ville Hwy. A flashing light would be nice to warn persons who do not know the road curves. Driving west in the evening, the sun is right in your eyes, unable to see oncoming car

2813 is the road that runs between Gresham and Highway 69.
