Deputies say shooting appears to be drug-related

Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; Sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting in northwest Harris County that sent at least one person to the hospital Monday night.

According to initial information, the shooting happened about 9 p.m. at an apartment complex along Bammel North Houston near the Tomball Parkway.

One person at the scene was taken to an area hospital in an unknown condition, deputies at the scene said.
