One man in Smith County jail after early morning stabbing

TYLER - Tyler Police were called to 518 W. Selman St. around 6 this morning to a disturbance at an apartment complex.

The complex is one large house divided up into several apartments.

Police say 20-year-old Joshua Malina and Marcus Williams were arguing this morning when Malina pulled a knife on Williams and stabbed him multiple times.

Williams was taken to a local hospital while the police investigated the scene.

During the investigation, Malina showed back up.

"He was questioned and they were able to determine what happened and the investigator made an on-site arrest at that time of Mr. Malina," said Don Martin with Tyler Police.

Malina is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Bond has been set at $100,000.

Williams stabbing injuries were not life threatening.
