henderson — One person has been hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the head after an alleged accidental shooting.

Henderson police officers responded at about 12:45 a.m. Saturday morning to a report of a shooting in the 200 block of Ballow Street.

One person was taken by air to a Tyler hospital.

An initial investigation found that two people were comparing firearms when a shot was fired, and one person fell to the floor.

No names have been released and no arrests had been made as of 9:15 a.m.
