One vehicle wreck kills three in Rusk County

DPS officials tell KETK three men were found dead Saturday night after their car hit a tree on Highway 42 in Rusk County.  


The three men were identified as 19 year old Blake Elliot Winfrey of Henderson, 17 year old Nicolas Ramon Garza of Selman City and 21 year old Tomas Garza of Selman City.


The men were driving a 2003 Ford Mustang, traveling northbound on Highway 42 around 9pm when their vehicle veered into the southbound lane.

The driver over-corrected and veered off the road a struck a tree.

They were pronounced dead at the scene.


All three passengers were not wearing their seatbelts.

umm Nicolas Garza was not 17 he was 19...just wanted to make this clear

if you dont have anything nice or respect for this grieving family then dont say crap...cause they were great guys...and you arent nobody to judge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think hambones comment was totally inapropriate...to assume that you know anything about what was going with these particular kids shows the inteligence or some of the adults as well. These boys were well respected young adults and it is a terrible loss for our community. Hambone, I think your statement is bias and disrespectful to the families that lost these young men.
