Online-dating users meet at a farm, not over coffee

Tyler, TX — Online dating is growing in popularity.
Instead of meeting your online match at your local coffee shop or taking a stroll getting to know one another, they're meeting at a farm.
One website and commercial has many East Texans talking, FarmersOnly.com.
"It's a running joke you know I'm going to go ahead and put you on farmers-only match so we can pair you up, every time, my wife and i see that we think this couldn't actually be happening," says Mark Hudgins, Tyler resident.
Reports say, farmers only dating site has millions looking to meet people.
FarmersOnly.com slogan is "City Folks Just Don't Get It?"
"I can see there be a niche for that , we're talking about people that live in the rural area," says Ken Haywood, Tyler resident.
Experts say, online dating is a billion dollar industry.
An online-dating service reports, more than $40 million people in the U.S. have tried online dating, and more than 60% percent say, common interests are the most important factor.
