Longview — Operation Christmas Child continued its local collections on Sunday, with volunteers packaging the gift-filled shoe boxes in cartons that will be delivered to a variety of Third World locations, said organizer Cheryl Pickenpaugh.

People who have packed boxes, but haven’t yet brought them to the collection station, will have a final opportunity to do so from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Calvary Baptist Church, 4715 Tenneryville Road.
