If you love tractors, the Antique Tractor and Engine Show is an event for you.

"We really think that the community has an appreciation for this kind of event because it is such a family oriented activity," said Tractor and Engine Association Inc. President, Charles Parmley.

There will be entertainment for the kids, and they can take a ride on a mini train.

"We have Home Depot coming out with their crafts tent. They're gonna let the kids build projects. We have our barrel train. We have the kiddie tractor pull. Every child that participates gets a certificate with his name or her name on it," said Parmley.

A big empty field will be replaced with the tractors and engines. About 150 antique tractors will be on display. Harry Nelson collects and restores tractors. He said he wouldn't miss the show for the world. Nelson said he owns many of the tractors that will be on display.

"It's just taking something that is old and actually junk... and just bringing it back to life and restoring them," said Nelson.

"Some of these tractors look better than they did when they were brand new, so we think people really appreciate some of the things that come from the past," said Parmley.

They are collectibles from previous generations.

"It's part of our heritage, and we like to keep this alive and let them know this is the way things use to be and have appreciation," said Parmley.
