Palin: Obama "most pro-abortion president"
DALLAS (AP) - Sarah Palin fired up a crowd of about 800
abortion-rights opponents by calling President Barack Obama "the
most pro-abortion president to occupy the White House" and
criticizing his health-care reform legislation.
She also praised Texas Gov. Rick Perry for his fight against the
Obama health-care reform package.
She and Perry briefly shared the stage Wednesday night at a
Dallas event to benefit an anti-abortion nonprofit organization
based in Austin. The group, Heroic Media, advises women of the
alternatives to abortion through advertising on television, the
Internet and other media.
The 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee and ex-Alaska governor
previously appeared an event sponsored by the organization in
Austin in April.
Perry won re-election Nov. 2 and is promoting his new book,
"Fed Up!: Our Fight to Save America from Washington."
